Our Story

Nestled in the quiet heart of Midway, Utah—where the mountains whisper stories and the seasons carve beauty into every stone and tree—Black Mountain Products was born from a vision rooted far across the Atlantic.

Our founders spent years living in the idyllic landscapes of Switzerland. There, they were surrounded by timeless chalets, steeped in the elegance of alpine craftsmanship—where wood and stone weren’t just materials, but mediums of art. He walked cobblestone streets and stood beneath carved timber beams that had endured centuries, developing a reverence for design that honors both nature and form. That reverence turned into a calling.

When they returned to Utah, their calling found expression in places like Fernweh and Cafe Galleria, where our now-iconic Alpenglobes invite people to dine under the stars. Each project was more than a build—it was a story told through grain and granite, warmth and wonder. began designing and constructing homes that redefined mountain luxury—residences that would go on to be featured in the prestigious Parade of Homes.

But amidst the sawdust and stone, they saw something missing.

Utah, a place where some of the nation’s most stunning and ambitious homes are built, lacked a seamless, inspired way to bundle the full experience of purchasing, designing, and installing wood and stone elements. Too often, homeowners and builders were left to stitch together the process themselves—navigating a patchwork of vendors, styles, and tradespeople. The soul of the project—the artistry—was getting lost.

So the three of us—Andy, Nathan, and Cooper—decided to change that.

Black Mountain Products was created to be more than a supplier. We are a design-driven, experience-focused company committed to transforming natural materials into heirloom-quality installations. From massive reclaimed beams to finely honed stonework, we specialize in delivering not just materials—but visions made real.

Today, we are honored to work on some of the most extravagant and complex homes in the Mountain West. Our fingerprints are on alpine lodges that glow with warmth in the winter dusk, on kitchen hearths that ground generations of memory, and on exterior structures that stand like sculptures against the Wasatch skyline.

Black Mountain Products isn’t just a company. It’s a return to authenticity. A reminder that wood and stone, when shaped by skilled hands and visionary minds, can still stir the soul.
